What you'll be doing
To provide effective medical services to patients under supervision, while developing expertise in the practice of Respiratory and/or Sleep Medicine, in a complex clinical environment.

This position is appointed locally to Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals. It would be suitable for a trainee looking to obtain training in Respiratory and Sleep before applying to the centralized panel or a General medicine trainee seeking a year in Respiratory.


  • MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
  • At least four postgraduate years and successful completion of the RACP Divisional Clinical Exam or at least four postgraduate years and eligible to sit the RACP Divisional Clinical Exam.
  • Excellent theoretical knowledge and clinical judgement.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary clinical team - diligence, punctuality, organization, record keeping, time management, problem solving skills, team work.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) with patients, their families, medical and non-medical colleagues; Demonstrates ability to provide empathetic and expert clinical care.
  • Demonstrated Commitment to ongoing education, research, teaching and quality improvement.
