We are looking for an experienced and dedicated team leader for our support department for laboratory density and concentration meter in Graz, Austria. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of 6 technical support experts and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. You will play a critical role in providing advanced technical support to our partners and customers and maintain close relationships with key stakeholders. A dedicated education plan is in place for the onboarding phase of about 6 months.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of technical support professionals, set goals, offer guidance, conduct performance evaluations.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, encourage open communication and knowledge sharing
- Provide coaching and mentorship, helping colleagues to develop their technical and customer service skills.
- Review support cases regularly, identify trends, implement proactive measures for improved support efficiency.
- Gather customer feedback and provide input for quality enhancements and product improvements.
- Creation of learning content for local Anton Paar representatives (E-learning, videos, content data base, personal training)
- Work together with the team on daily tasks and projects including handling of escalating service cases
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in a technical support role, preferably within the field of analytical measurement devices.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with strong customer focus
- Excellent communication skills in English language (optional: other languages)
- Assertiveness, strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and support ticketing software.
- Willingness to travel internationally for up to 10% of work time

This position is subject to the collective agreement governing employees in the metal sector. Your actual salary depends on your experience and qualifications. For the vacant position it will usually be set within the following range (gross per month, excluding overtime): €3,500.00 to €4,200.00.
